Stop Exercising if Weight Loss Is Your Goal


You can exercise your muscles but not your hormones.

Your weight is regulated by your hormones and as we get older this is so important. 

Exercise has numerous benefits but weight loss is not one of them.

I am in no way telling you not to exercise. I exercise and love the cognitive, physical and emotional benefits. I view exercise as a gift to yourself. However if weight loss is your goal it is more important to focus on ways to balance your hormones as you age.

You might feel that ship has sailed with regards to losing weight in your 50’s and above but I’m here to tell you that my clients are losing weight and you can too. They are not special they are just taking action by making a series of decisions that are getting them closer to their goal. They decided that enough was enough and took action.

They are not doing it perfectly and view mistakes as learning opportunities. I’ve also introduced intermittent fasting as one of the tools to help them with their weight loss goal. Intermittent fasting (IF) is helping to balance their hormones with amazing results.
