You Must Do This or Doing Your Best Is Worthless

Do your best. You hear this all the time. Doing your best is only effective if you have this essential ingredient.

The essential ingredient is knowledge. Do you have the knowledge to back up what you are doing? Are you doing it in the right way and in the way it is recommended? Have you done the research?

Most of my clients are women over the age of 40 doing great things in the world. They own thriving businesses, are in upper level management, operate socially conscious businesses amongst other things in addition to creating that comfortable space to nurture and support their families.

They do extremely well in these areas because they are knowledgeable about that subject. They have acquired the knowledge and learnt what works and what doesn’t along the way. They are experts in their fields.

However when it comes to losing weight they struggle, they are smart and intelligent, however this is not their area of expertise and they don’t have the knowledge or the right tools. They have done their best over the years but it hasn’t produced the results they want and they deserve to get the results with the amount of work they put in.

I love to share with my clients what to do to make permanent weight loss possible. I love to see the smile on their faces when they begin to see the results that have eluded them for so long. I love to hear the excitement in their voice when they tell me about a dress they bought that they would not have considered purchasing a few years or months ago or about the adventure they are about to embark on because losing weight provides an extra level of confidence and an abundance of energy.

Fuel foods are vegetables, fruits, whole grains, legumes, animal protein, seafood etc. They are essentially non-processed food.

Homework: What are some of your favorite fuel foods? Write them down and incorporate at least one each day this week. Little steps make a big difference over time. I know you can do this. I want you to have the knowledge so that when you do your best you will succeed. I look forward to hearing from you, email me with questions or just to let me know how you are progressing.
